The prestigious list ranks the 5000 fastest-growing companies in the U.S.
It’s always rewarding for a company to be recognized for its growth and innovation. At Arkose Labs, we have received great recognition in that regard. Today, we have made our debut appearance on the prestigious Inc 5000 list, coming in at number 195. Arkose Labs ranked 5th in the security industry and 11th in the Bay Area.
The Inc. ranking is a recognition of the tremendous growth that the company has achieved in the last few years. It is also the recognition of incredible work that we are doing to keep digital platforms safe, especially when online fraud is at an all-time high. Through our ground-breaking technology and zero-tolerance approach, it is our constant endeavor to make the internet safer for all.
Validation of our efforts to make the internet safe for good users
Over the past three years, Arkose Labs has not only experienced hype rgrowth, but we have also won many prestigious industry awards including the Gartner Cool Vendor award in 2020, the Cyber Defense Magazine Awards for Hot Company in Fraud Prevention; CEO of the Year; and Top Women in Cybersecurity. We were also shortlisted for Best Use of Security/Anti-Fraud Solution in Payments in Fintech Futures’ 2021 PayTech Awards and named an honoree for Fast Company’s World Changing Ideas.
These awards and recognition are a validation of our efforts in fighting fraud and provide us with the motivation to continue doing good work by enhancing our platform and protecting digital businesses from the rising menace of fraud. For instance, credential stuffing is on a dangerously high and plagues businesses across industries. In the first half of 2021, we stopped 285 million credential stuffing attacks on our network. To help our partners fight the scourge, we introduced the credential stuffing warranty covering customers up to $1 million in response expenses earlier this month. This is the first of its kind warranty in the industry and we are proud to be the first security vendor to fully stand behind our product and be vested in our partners' success.
Expansion of the leadership team and locations of operation
I am grateful to each one of our team members for working tirelessly and contributing to all the success that the company has been able to achieve within a short span of time. I am incredibly proud of our people and our company’s culture, where a strong moral compass guides everything we do. As a result, we have not only been able to create a world-class product but have also been able to win the confidence of investors, who have come forward to support our fight against fraud.
In May of this year, we raised a $70 million Series C funding round which was led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2, with additional participation from Wells Fargo Strategic Capital and previous investors M12 and PayPal Ventures. I am grateful to all our investors who’ve gone above and beyond the investments to provide us with invaluable advisory and customer introductions. To further strengthen our team and global presence, we made key C-suite additions to our leadership team and expanded our operations to Europe and Japan.

The latest ranking, placing us among the top 200 fastest-growing private companies of the nation, will further strengthen our resolve to make a difference in the lives of millions of digital consumers and make the internet safer for all.
