That's a sale you'd miss out on if you block bots.
Now our customers want the ability to enforce the policies they want, instead of just a blanket 'block all the bots.'
Historically we've had this concept of good bots, like Google's SEO bots, spidering your website. If you block them, your site doesn't turn up on Google. That's a known concept. But a bot going to your login screen, your account creation screen or buying something, that's always been a no-no. But now that's different. We're gonna keep seeing the bad stuff, but there's absolutely also gonna be these good agents, agentic commerce, where you want to enable that. People are gonna say to the app: I want to buy a pair of shoes, this price, this size, this color, ship it by this date, go find it. That's a sale you'd miss out on if you block bots. Now our customers want the ability to enforce the policies they want, instead of just a blanket 'block all the bots.'
