Generative AI has eliminated many of the telltale signs of online fraud — poor grammar, awkward phrasing — making it much harder for consumers to distinguish scam communications from legitimate ones. He warned that AI is enabling fraudsters to scale attacks more broadly while targeting victims with greater precision.
