Arkose Labs released its 2022 State of Fraud and Account Security report, revealing an 85% increase in login attacks and fake account creation after analyzing over 150 billion transaction requests across 254 countries and territories. The data found that 1 in 4 new online accounts were fake, with 21% of all traffic confirmed as fraudulent. The company also identified that bots drove 86% of attacks, making them 3 times more complex than in prior years.
