Dark Reading covered an Arkose Labs report on Greasy Opal, a CAPTCHA-bypass tool used by Storm-1152 to manufacture 750 million fake Microsoft accounts for sale to ransomware groups. CEO Kevin Gosschalk said the service has made sophisticated bot attacks accessible to anyone: "Now, anyone can buy a sophisticated bot tool along with training and customer support and start up a career as a cybercriminal."
