Arkose Labs' 2022 State of Fraud and Account Security report reveals that 86% of attacks against online accounts are now bot-driven, with those bots becoming 3 times more complex than in prior years. The analysis, drawn from real user sessions on the Arkose Fraud and Abuse Prevention Platform in 2021, also found that 80% of all login attacks were credential stuffing attempts. The company warns that increasing bot sophistication is making it harder for security teams to detect attack signatures at scale.
