Arkose Labs' latest Fraud and Abuse Report found human-driven attacks climbed 90% in Q4 2019 compared to the previous six months, as fraudsters turned to human labor to supplement automated bots and defeat detection systems. The analysis of more than 1.3 billion transactions spanning account registrations, logins and payments across six major industries exposed a growing convergence of automation and human effort in attack strategies. The trend signals that conventional bot-detection alone is increasingly insufficient against modern fraud operations.
