In a Forbes Technology Council roundup of emerging cyberthreats for 2026, Arkose Labs CEO Kevin Gosschalk highlighted the challenge agentic AI poses for fraud detection. As both legitimate users and fraudsters increasingly rely on AI agents — which use the same fake devices, synthetic browsers and cloud infrastructure — traditional approaches to separating humans from bots are reaching their limits. Gosschalk described the core challenge as finding one needle in a haystack full of identical needles.
