IT Brew reports that demand for "AI orchestrators" — the humans who keep AI agents working within their boundaries and coordinating properly with one another — has exploded, with Lightcast data showing job listings for the role up more than 1,000% year-over-year as of February 2026. Arkose Labs CEO and founder Kevin Gosschalk told IT Brew that companies should look for genuine curiosity and a drive to keep up with fast-moving technology when hiring for the role.
