SecurityWeek’s Cyber Insights 2026 series on cybersecurity information sharing included commentary from Arkose Labs CIO and CSO Phil Steffora on the inherent challenges of law enforcement-to-business information sharing. Steffora noted that while sharing threat intelligence is valuable in principle, the pace of criminal adaptation often outstrips the speed at which that intelligence can be operationalized. He also flagged legal and liability concerns that make many organizations reluctant to share what they know, even when collaboration would benefit the broader ecosystem.
