Bank Info Security featured a video interview with Arkose Labs CEO Kevin Gosschalk at RSAC 2025, in which he explained that cybercriminal groups maintain roughly a 2-year technological lead over defenders by adopting AI without regulatory or ethical constraints. Gosschalk highlighted dedicated crime-as-a-service vendors selling synthetic deepfake video software for $10,000 a month exclusively to criminals, as well as underground Telegram communities of nearly a million members openly sharing attack tactics.
